What can I scan?

Product barcodes (UPC and EAN, the ones on groceries, books and boxes), QR codes, and most other common barcodes. The same code always reveals the same Hero, on any device.

If a code won't read, fill the frame with it, hold steady, and make sure it's well lit and not too shiny or curved.

I said no to the camera

You can turn camera access back on at any time:

iPhone and iPad

Open Settings, scroll down to Scanbound, and turn on Camera.

Android

Open Settings → Apps → Scanbound → Permissions, and allow Camera.

Scanbound only reads codes from the camera view. No photos are taken, saved or sent.

The Supporter Pack

The Supporter Pack is the game's one optional purchase. It supports the developer and shows your appreciation. As a thank-you, it unlocks every variant of every Hero, ready to equip on each Hero you know. Cosmetics only: it never changes anything in battle.

Getting it back on a new device

The pack belongs to your Apple ID or Google account. Install Scanbound with the same account, open the Supporter Pack, and tap Restore Purchases on iPhone or iPad. On Android it comes back on its own.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by the store. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play through your order history.

Reporting a problem

In Scanbound, open Options and tap Share Diagnostic Report. Email the report with a short description of what happened. The report holds error details only, and no barcode values or saved game.

Your data

Your game is saved only on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. Anonymous gameplay stats are sent only if you choose Share Stats; you can turn them off any time in Options → Gameplay Stats. See the Privacy Policy.
